He has sired more individual juvenile winners at this stage of the season than in any of his previous crops, with August getting off to a particularly strong start.
At the beginning of the month, he enjoyed three two-year-old winners in three days, starting with First Law, who made an impressive winning debut at Sandown for trainer Charlie Appleby and owner Godolphin. In doing so, he won the same race in which Too Darn Hot made a successful debut eight years earlier.
This was followed by Burning Up, who made a smart winning debut at Haydock for trainer Karl Burke and owners Exors of the Late Sheikh Mohammed Obaid.
Lukewarm completed the three winners in three days for Too Darn Hot when the two-year-old filly made it two wins from two starts, breaking the juvenile track record in the Dahlia Sho at Niigata for trainer Takahisa Tezuka and owner Godolphin.
