Coverings and Foalings

Conor Chapman (Watership Down) and Donna Vowles (Kiltinan) have years of foaling experience, liaising with the vets to guarantee that mares get the utmost care needed.

Kiltinan Stud is perfectly located adjacent to Coolmore Stud in Co. Tipperary, providing the perfect base for mares visiting their world-class stallions. It is also only a short drive from other leading stud farms in Ireland including Gilltown, Kildangan and the Irish National Stud.

Being based close to the M4, mares based at Watership Down are within easy driving distance to most of the UK’s leading stallions.
